I'm guessing it is a hiatus of sorts and that it could possibly be back later in the year (which is pointless because the 1.1 dvds are out in February) But I have emailed the network for information so I can share on a forum I mod. I'm more of an SG-1 fan, SGA lost me in season 4 and I haven't seen enough of SGU to form a strong opinion other than it's a tad boring.

I'm more peeved about Supernatural because the new season is only 4-5 episodes in and getting really good.
