Oh, mags, it's beautiful.

Daniel's so hurt, and Jack's eyes never leave him. It's all he can give him at that point. (Of course, he could bloody well have hugged him earlier and on-screen but that's another matter. Grrr)

Also, Holding On is the title of the gen Meridian fic I've just written, and the title applies so well here, too. *wibbles*
