That's really powerful stuff, mags, and beautiful, too.

That shot of Jack wiping the thumb across his cheek ... looking at the Stargate companion book, it looks like that was a scene that never made it to screen because it also features Daniel lying in the iso room bed without bandages. So it comes before the wordless but powerful Jack sitting beside his bed scene.
