If we take "lupin" to be "wolf" then I translate the words to be: "Indeed/in fact wolf comparable/equal corrupt within" which could mean "Like the wolf, you are corrupt within" - none of these words lead us to believe that the Priors are seeking to convert them or save their souls, they are just condemning them.
