Yeah, post the first sentence of your last 25 fics and see if you can spot any patterns or what not...

( I put this off, because I hate re-reading my own shit... )

I see a pattern of what appears to be some incomplete sentences, maybe a few missing commas. I rarely write in the 1st person, I don't trust myself, and if I want to sound a bit artsy fartsy, it's usually in 2nd. Meh.
