Can I say I love you? :P Everything you've pointed out is 100% correct, and is exactly what I thought of when I was writing it.
I am always afraid when I write fic that the point I am trying to make, or what I am trying to say is too ambiguous or just plain don't make sense.
As for the ending...my lips are sealed. :P
