magnavox_23A few weeks ago it was announced that the Stargate Information Archive run by Arcady since 1998 would be closing. I was pretty bummed out, having been a member since '04 on the forums I basically have my fannish roots there. A few of us regulars got to talking and threw around ideas for a new forum to carry on the spirit of the Archives for those of us still wanting that forum community with a little familiarity and with the brilliant skills of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
damianl & KillerMarv, and the blessing of Arcady, we have opened UnArchived.
We're inviting all Archive members to join, as well as anyone on LJ interested in forum based discussions. While the Stargate franchise is still #1, there are a variety of smaller sub forums for all your sci fi shows - Trek, Wars, Who, Supernatural, Lost etc etc etc... as well as anything else you'd like to add yourself.sg_dingo & I are currently moderating and generally setting the place up with the basic stuff, again, you're welcome to add to the forums as you wish, all contributions are welcome.
