So awesome to read what an icon maker feels about her own icons!
The Daniel/Vitruvian Man userpic is now gonna make me giggle at the fanon snark. While mingling with the Performance majors at university as I was earning my degree in Theatre Tech, I remember discussions over how impossible it was for them to write, draw or do needlework as part of acting onstage. I imagine it's the same for Shanks or Spader, whether they were sketching glyphs or handwriting. Shots where the camera focuses on what's being written are easier than long shots where the camera captures dialog AND body language AND what's being written/drawn/sewn.
