Adrift...

I had some major trepidation in watching this episode. I'd heard various things about it, both good and bad, but being aware of the direction, particularly with regard to character changes/additions, the show was going in this season I didn't know whether I wanted to watch in horrid fascination - expecting something akin to a train crash, or run away and pretend it wasn't happening. I know, I know, that wouldn't really be fair without having seen it.
