Jack and Daniel have some special alone time in an elevator from which Jack simply must brag to all his buddies and tell them to get their butts to Abydos to look for the Eye of Ra coz Daniel said so. Once there Daniel finds a stone tablet that's far more interesting, Teal'c blows up the baddies, Sam and Jonas have fun with lasers, and Jack engages in a battle of irreverence and snark with Herak. Turns out power is in the beholder of the eye... or something like that...

Senator Kinsey breaks into Jack's house and drinks his good hooch before like totes offering to be his BFF. Jack's cavalier treatment of phones aside, they head off to the SGC to plot against the Trust who as it turns out aren't all that trustworthy. After playing spies and getting Kinsey's ass kidnapped, Daniel goes to Russia obstensibly to flirt his way to the top of the Russian military, Sam plays spot the difference and Teal'c hops on a spaceship to catch those badass mofos... but they get away...
