Daniel's season 8 groupie's (no not the pigtailed one) beau comes in search of Daniel to work those diplomatic jeans (intergalactic levi's) genes to save his world from blowing each other to smitherines, because it's just so old hat. The rest of SG-1 head off to rendezvous because Rand have a nasty little Prior weapon with which to commit genocide. The Prometheus - fond memories and all - goes kablooey, everyone hugs, Daniel negotiates, but the planet goes boom anyways... and drink.
