Be All My Sins Remember'd

If anything, I've tried not to let myself get too serious about fandom. There's way more important things in the world to worry my pretty little head about after all. But, I did toss up whether or not to bother watching this episode, and originally I decided no. Then, I read some spoilers for season 5 and I was intrigued. More on that later.
Sam, oh Sam, you have finally shone through and shown what you're made of at last. Thank god! Besides my still adamant belief that Weir is far better suited to the job, Sam's misguided queen bitch behaviour this season has been really off putting. I was happy to see her stand up for Rodney against Ellis. I only wish Elizabeth had had the authority to have been allowed to do the same. And kudos for recognising that just because she's the leader, doesn't mean Sam has to be wooden around her subordinates. I'm happy to finally see some character shining through and not the generic 'do this, do that, but please like me' routine.
Teyla finally revealed her pregnancy, and really, I didn't picture it going down any other way. Sheppard had every right to be upset due to her actions and he definitely made the right call. Seriously, what was Teyla thinking? Ronan, oh what a sweetheart! Holding her hand and walking her to the infirmary. 'You know, Ronan works well as a boy's or a girl's name..." Hehe. And, I know I've missed a few eps, but who is Kanan?
Todd - again, I've missed some episodes, but he's a real treat.
FRAN - it's an interesting take on exactly what constitutes life and Fran's ideas on her own mortality. Maybe Rodney's proof of her being a program felt a little fast and black and white to me, but it still doesn't sit exactly right with me. Gorgeous character none the less.
Sheppard and Larrin, what the hell is all this? Pegasus has it's own Vala wannabe now, and Shep sounded like he's all but reducing himself to a rent boy? And essentially asking for her number with that shy little boy act, Pulease! Since when does anyone get tied to a chair ala Bugs Bunny?
Leather!Weir, oh my. If you're going to show something that pretty, do so for more than 30 seconds! Is she good? Is she bad? Is it her? Is it another copy/Repli!Weir/etc? Who knows. Really, with the way stuff has gone, I just want her to have a happy ending now, maybe go home to earth or something. But no, the saga continues. And, I still don't know if this is a good or bad thing. My bet is on it being the real Weir and that she's now the leader of Niem's repli!rebels (assuming not all of them were wiped out in This Mortal Coil).
Stop reading if you don't want to be spoiled for season 5.

So now it seems quite probable that we will see Weir again in some form or another in season 5 as mentioned by Martin Gero. Maybe a few guest appearances here and there, maybe. TH has already expressed that even if she was asked to go back full time, she would refuse, so having Weir come back part time in some capacity would probably be ideal. (and by that I mean actually contributing something, not showing up for 30 seconds of screen time and calling it a whole episode *slaps Mallozzi*).
I think that's it for me. I'll wait for the dvds.

Kanan was an sg-1 thing - the Tok'ra that dragged Jack's sorry ass off to Ba'al's planet and led to the events of Abyss.
