Jack becomes Stealy McSteals-Things to run awry of General Hammond whom offers him reTIREDment because he's been a bad bad boy. Daniel tries to understand™, but Jack hurts his feels, fellates a bottle, and there is general angst and moping until Maybourne appears and we're just left with that ick feeling... Maybourne convinces Jack to go dark side with melodramatics and giant maltesers, and Jack heads offworld to run his operation. There, he does a pinch n' drop to draw out the mole (...just the one, huh? sure?) and leaves breadcrumbs for the Asgard to follow him back to their hideout. There, he offers his new team aliens or prison, and since they are all obvious X Files fans - secret government, cloak and dagger etc - everyone heads back to Earth where Jack gets to be Jack again and Daniel is either lying or can't talk about his feels either! UGH!
