That's interesting. I wonder if it's programmed that way or it's just a part of the formatting process. I have a PAL/NTSC VCR as well, but no NTSC tapes to test it with, I wonder if it does the same thing.
I didn't noticed anything with the picture, but the audio definitely sounded a bit muffled.
