Honestly, I'm not really up on this show because we've yet to get a distributor here for it (yet the networks pick up cancelled shows such as Missing and Alcatraz!) so I'll be waaaay behind y'all again, even if we do get it on our shores. But, creativity strikes so I made a couple of wallpapers from the high res publicity shots and promo caps (Which are most probably dannysgirlsg1's):

Yeah it's a little romance novely, but it has a penis so there. I have a text-less version here.

Also, we're in the same boat in the UK; no sign of Saving Hope. There's a good chance it'll be cancelled before we even get a sniff of it! (Although I hope it runs for years, obviously). *g*

Oh yes, Deeds was telling me. You'd think UK and Aussie TV would want to air them as close as possible so as not to miss out on the ratings downloading takes. *sigh*

It's so annoying. We do get some shows "as new". Mad Men, for example, is currently being shown a matter of days behind the US, and we're not far behind in Hawaii 5-0. But smaller, new shows? Pffft. Forget it.

Thanks goodness for DVD box sets, I say!

Oddly enough we have Missing for example being 'fast tracked' showed within days and yet the show has been cancelled in the US. What's the point of airing these one season or half season shows, promoting the hell out of them when they're not for the long haul?

I say this while watching the Once Upon A Time pilot that we're finally getting 6 months after they first began promoting it...

We're getting Awake right now ... and it's already been canned! Grrrr.

Once Upon a Time is being shown here. I wasn't overly impressed with the couple of eps I watched, although Robert Carlyle acted everyone else off the screen! I think Grimm is actually better, but I gave up on that, too.

The only shows I'm avidly watching at the mo are Mad Men, Hawaii 5-0 ( for eye candy only, god not the dreadful plots!) Smash, Deadliest Catch and Whale Wars (they find the factory ship this week, hurrah! and I'm so in love with helicopter pilot Chris Aultman it's not true!). I need a TV-watching clone!!

Even the eye candy couldn't keep H5O for me, Whale Wars is only on cable here and season 4 is not even out on DVD yet (Chris is sweet but Pottsie is my fav :P). The only US programming I catch regularly now is NCIS and Big Bang Theory.

I liked Once Upon A Time, Robert Carlyle just has that way of blowing his scenes out of the water, he wasn't even in it that much. Great to see Tony Amendola too!

I'm only watching OUAT because Jim is now....although RC does act them all out of the water...apart from the Jiminy Cricket bloke (who is v.good) and Tony of course...once again it's dominated by 3 female characters that I'm not all that impressed with...but I'm sticking with it..

Gave up Grimm, H2O as I like to call it and most of the other stuff....


Hope SH is going to be good...think it's going to appeal more to the squeeing fangirly shippers than me though....and yes, CHALEX is a shit shipper name by anyone's standards!!! :P

The only one I've seen before is Gennifer Goodwin. I'm willing to give the show a chance, I liked the pilot.

I hope to be able to give Saving Hope a go, I just worry that shows with this love triangle set up often have a way of making the characters flirt with betrayal as a way of increasing the drama, and unlikeable characters leads to things like SGU. :P

I'm going to try to catch this, though my track record with watching network shows in real time is not good.

I keep forgetting to watch Castle, for example. And I never could remember to sit down for Leverage, even though I loved it at first.

I never could keep up with White Collar even during the first season! I ended up DVRing a lot of it, watching it a day or two later.

That was the last new show I watched. I'm still invested in Burn Notice, but have switched over to following it on DVD. I don't have any cable channels any more, but I can get NBC over the air, which is where this one will be.

I'm watching as much baseball as anything right now, lol.

I've been meaning to give Castle and Bones a chance, but I just never have the time. I saw most of season 1 of White Collar, but I could never get really into it. Burn Notice and NCIS are about the only dramas I am left with now.

I can't remember who our NBC affiliate is here, but they had better bloody recognise a good thing. :P The Canadian made shows do tend to do quite well over here. Flashpoint for example.
