The anomaly really was quite pretty now that Vala had pointed it out to Sam. As was the rest of their surroundings, a desert island on a moon in a system where Vala has spent some time in the past. Apart from studying the anomaly with the limited instruments in her pack, Sam found there was nothing much to do but swim, lie around in the sun, and let Vala apprise her of all sorts of carnal activity while they awaited rescue.
