Okay, she played Dr. Jordan Hampton, a police forensic pathologist, who fails to correctly identify a John Doe as a murder victim. The body ends up in one of Ducky's cadaver classes, where a stream of mercury from the brain leads Ducky to go storming after his negligent colleague. But when he gets a look at her, he softens right up especially since she seems to sincerely regret the mistake.
None of the NCIS gang can successfully identify the tattoo on his arm (much to Abby's chagrin) and Jordan comes to the headquarters with an idea. She and Ducky remove that particular piece of skin (yucky, yucky)and identify the tattoo by looking at it backwards. Gibbs does give Ducky a hard time about how he just hoped that Dr. Hampton could recover from the dressing down Ducky gave her.;)
