Why would the Asgard install all of their knowledge in a ship that is in the middle of a war with the Ori and thus vunerable to destruction or being taken over, which would allow access to that information by the enemy? Yeah it's a little plot device-y, but wouldn't it have been better to safe-keep that knowledge someplace on Earth? In Stargate Command, or elsewhere in case of an attack? The Alpha site?
If the Asgard were so buddy-buddy with the Ancients once upon a time, did the Ancients share all of their knowledge with the Asgard? Did the Asgard ever know exactly what was contained within the headsucker devices? Why didn't the Asgard ever try to ascend?
WHY DIDN'T JACK GET TO SAY GOODBYE TO THOR?!?! *cries* Did they have a private offscreen farewell, clothes optional?
What do you think?
