Say I, or someone in another country wanted to send a letter, perhaps a postcard of some sort to... Cheyenne Mountain...to Teal'c! How would one address such a note?

Is Cheyenne Mountain a part of Colorado Springs? Would it have the same 80840 area code?

Could it be sent c/o NORAD?

What is the correct way to address a letter to the US? I have done so before, but I want to make sure I set it out correctly, otherwise you may come at me with wet noodles... :P

For purely fannish reasons of course... *innocent lamb face*

CMOC. Look at the history section to see what it was called at the time you are looking to address the letter. Cheyenne Mnt Air Force Station is actually IN Colorado Springs, an area which has numerous zip codes. The zip code appears to be 80914, but I am oddly unable to find a separate web page for JUST CM like I can for, say, Peterson AFB.

At any rate, it would be addressed something like this:

T. Jaffa
Whatever alias unit name the SGC is going under - Deep Space observation or some such? Reference what Sam tells everyone she does
associated alias for SG teams, specifically SG-1
Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station (or whatever it was called in the time period in question) CO 80914
USA

Hope that helps, as vague as some parts of it are.

Here is an example of an existing mailing address for a unit on a military base:

North American Aerospace Defense Command
250 Vandenberg St.
Suite B-016
Peterson Air Force Base CO
80914-3808
